The New Scientist published a special report recently, outlining what they believe needs to be done to "save" the planet from destruction. In it, they state: "The science tells us that if we are serious about saving Earth, we must reshape our economy...." They go on to say, "There are either environmentalists who mistakenly believe free markets and property rights are harmful to the environment, or there are socialists who are using the environmental movement to bring about the government they want...."
